Thanks for this. I use movie clips when doing movie reviews and have often had the sound track claimed. Removing the music allows me to use more clips and edit them more tightly. This is just what I have been looking for.

Thank you so much this is a lifesaver because the marketing videos I have are being muted on TikTok due to the length of the apparently copyrighted music being longer than 1 minute... really frustrating but a real problem... Wih this I can just da a different background music for TikTok ;-)

Hello. This does not work, it just reduces the music to a low and tinny sound which you can clearly hear. What a shame. Great video though. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong as there is so much praise listed in the comments below. Not to worry. Thank you. I will contine to mute the track and then audio dub.

Found your video and this is exactly what I need. Unfortunately, tried it and the results were not good at all. Even with the music turned off, it was still there on the voice track. Now I will admit that it could be my source file but the music in my video is pretty clear so it should have worked better. A bust for me. I'll keep looking for something else.

So it works well for background music without lyrics. This is only for an audio file. You will have to overlay the audio file back over your video file if you want it to be changed for a video.

It will only accept audio files. You will have to extract the audio from your video to use it.

That's the problem - I record in the casino and it is the background music. I cut the video then place other music during the time that YT has flagged me for.
