Is it difficult to put the wiring back in?
@jonimaanwadu8327 Жыл бұрын
Not as difficult as E46 boot lid we did a replacement , we attached a metal wire to the harness and used that as a ”guide”

I'm getting a new hood on my 2003 Jetta! It has only 122,000 miles and runs like a humming bird!!

I'm about to change my hood so this came in handy, do you also have a video that explains the removal and replacement of the engine mounts for the tdi golf ?? Cheers from Sydney

I’m about to do this for the first time and thanks for your video. I drive a VW Polo 2010 and couldn’t find a video with the exact model. But I think what you have shown is a very similar process. Wish me luck 😊

Was it the same?
@jtvalente Жыл бұрын
@@22wavey40 pretty much the same. With the VW polo I have, I didn’t have to worry about feeding the sprinkler cables through the hood. All you need to do is remove the heat cover and then it’s very easy to fit the sprinkler cables through. After that you put the heat cover back on. Just try your best to line up the panels correctly and you might have to adjust the sprinkler position as well.

How do you put the harness back into the hood?

how on earth do you feed those wires back in the hood?
@peranavansithy59354 жыл бұрын
what i did was took straws and tied them to the wires up so i ran them easily through the hood
@stuartb35023 жыл бұрын
Get a piece of reasonably stiff wire (like a coat hanger opened out). Feed that through the opposite way. Tape the wires to it and then pull them back through.
