TLDW: time-select plosive (T on keyboard for time-select tool), Effects > Filter and EQ > FFT Filter > Preset = "kill the mic rumble". However, this assumes your plosive registered on your mic in the sub-100 Hz region ... not a reliable assumption.

Thanks, ZenGeekDad🤜🏾
@s.m.41983 жыл бұрын
Is this why it didn't work for me? Everyone else says it worked. It barely did anything for me at all.
@ZenGeekDad3 жыл бұрын
@@s.m.4198 Absolutely. If you toggle your main audio timeline away from the default amplitude (volume) plot, and to a frequency plot (to do this, double-click on the little group of tiny white dots on the middle of the border of this panel, at the bottom), ... then zoom in on the frequency range from zero to about 500 or so (mouse right-click + drag to select the frequency range you want to zoom to), ... you will see which frequencies were the loudest (the color map is like a fire's heat: brighter is louder). If your plosive (as miscaptured as a bomb sound by the mic) went significantly above 100 Hz, then you need to drag the keyframe on the Effect to your right, into slightly higher frequencies. It's a trade-off though, because the vocal range , especially for men, dips down towards 100 Hz, so the de-plosived audio sounds more tin-y the higher you set the keyframe cutoff.
