Depends as sometimes you have to cut the top of to get a socket on if they are really tight. Or if they show as a circuit fault they need replacing

If it has a circuit fault or you damage it getting it out you have to replace. Or if I'm traveling to repair one I'll just bring a new one incase

Jimmy i have a Ford Kuga 2013. I have the EXACT same problem iv ordered one from my local motor factors here in clare Ireland. Question is is it absolutely necessary to prime the vaporizer after refit as my own diagnostic computer probably does not have that hot function to prime that also is the a certain way to do a regeneration on the diagnostic as in clear fault first then regeneration or what ? I do not want to damage the car but at the same time i think I'm capable of doing the task myself. Thanks in advance ☺

It should still work without priming it but I've never not done it

where did you learn the vaporizer trip from, i saw that myself on a teraclean website, but he took a long time to get that vaporizer clean. He used around about 70PSI of air with the blow torch, but you got your clean in a short amount of time

Just learned myself from trying it. Soot is combustible so it should be easy to burn

@@jopieavier7825 hi im not in the workshop (breakdowns all day) but i will send you the info when when i get in the morning, you will need to cean all the old part so the fuel can get through to the glow plug. Jutty

Nice one Jopie, just make sure the fuel line is clear through to the port in tne side of the vaporizer, and check the fuse in the engine bay fuse box. Static regen will more than likely be required.

@@justinward5865 Well, I managed to remove the vaporizer and checked it on 12 volts. It is heating up. There is no blockage at all. Really clean (310.000 km on it) Checked the fuse (F2), it was alright, checked the relay and that works as it should (R4). Just reinstalled everything and after clearing the ECU on start: Engine error P269B. No idea what it could be. I will take of battery power tomorrow and see what that does. Otherwise some wiring issue, I guess

You could try heating it on the vehicle and use an airline
