Man I'm so glad you grabbed an obs. I've had mines for two years sitting in the garage with no engine and now you done motivated me to get out there and get it going. 2000 e-lade, gold painted handles. the key to the re-install is the latch being loose like you did, making room for the handle rod to slide down and into the latch before tightening the t30 bolts and the handle. thank you for the lesson great video's as always

Getting that lock cylinder back thru and clicked in place can be a pain sometimes. Esecially when you're working around fresh paint job. Those aftermarket handles have gotten better. 20 years ago they were junk and wouldn't hold the lock in place. Good video though, especially with one hand
