I have the same car. My problem is with the driver's side where it clips on. With the teeth part you were talking about. My bumper sticks out right there and does not want to go back in. Do I need that bracket?

Do you have any recommendations for where to buy the pop clips, rivets etc? Should I buy them directly from Toyota or is Amazon, eBay motors etc ok?

But then from the Toyota dealer, this will save you a lot of time. There are too many options in the aftermarket for clips and you might end up with the wrong size. Clips are cheap! Happy Motoring ✌️
