my first car was a corolla too. mine was a 2013 facelifted version with every option other than rear spoiler and multimedia screen. its was our family car before my dad gave it to me 3 years ago. it was a light and fun car. perfect for learning about cars and having fun without too much danger

That’s awesome! I love the jettas. They are very nice. I drove a 2006 Jetta with the 1.8T and it was nice, it was an auto, but I bet having a manual would have made it better. But yes trying to make the driving more fun, is honestly better then power mods! All the little things start to make a big difference, and it looks like you got your Jetta driving nice!

You know what, I don't care that the corolla is a 'commuter car'. Obviously it's not everyone's cup of tea. The cool thing though (and what I miss from the 90 - early 2000s car culture) is the feeling of truly being individualistic.
