How to remove rusted nuts from an exhaust manifold with out wringing studs

Used a nut splitter to cut rusted nuts from an exhaust manifold. This is a gauranteed way of not wringing the stud an stops making an exhaust removal a nightmare

I was thinking about doing that then I said no I’ll try this but I consultants to KZbin to get my KZbin degree which I totally frowned upon anybody but this actually was my next step thank you very much mate

Run a recip saw down the length of the bolt accros the top to bottom of Nutt then undo it when you cut through it

yep the splitters a reasonable to buy but my advice buy a middle of the range an not the cheapest, at the end of the day you get what you pay for

EJ Be the Light .... threads were 100 percent, no problems, got replacement buts off ebay

use full bit off kit there, i have been having the same issue and dont want to use my dremel to cut the nut off, only a 15mm so might look at getting this kit. you should check out my mondeo mk3 channel, gonna hit your sub button, keep it up.
