Yeah probably, most of the new cars are with lot of scratches because there when removing the sticker it gets scratched with our nails and dust on them.

I'm no pro, but scratches don't just "come back". This is permanent, and should be coated with something, cared for and washed as properly as possible(no contact washes and proper chemicals to lift dirt and create slippery surfaces). Frequent polishing only wears away at the clear coat and before long you'll be right through it and then you're in a load of trouble.

My lovely new CX-5 gets a fail on the exterior surface durability scale in my opinion. The exterior piano black plastics are ridiculous, they show scratches incredibly easily. The chrome is also too soft. Cars are not made like the good old days. I’ve had the piano black exterior plastics protective wrapped but that stuff scratches too, the micro scratches heal over with heat though. The chrome l will just have to be extra careful with that I suppose. Getting a new is nice, but having it deuteriate is not so nice.

Why do my pads get so soaked and heavy with polish before i finish the car? Obviously due to too much chemical but i feel like I need more to spead it throughout the vehicle. Or is it normal to use 2 pads during polishing?

Do you need to apply pressure on the applicator or do you let the weight of the polisher be enough?

Do not apply heavy pressure while polishing the paint with the polisher. Let the polisher weight and pad foam do the work. All you have to do is guide where you want the polisher to polish.

You’re possibly going to make the problem worse with a normal circulatory motion. The tool used in this video is a random oscillation polishing grinder, which spins the head in a random pattern.

Hello! Yes, compound and polish contain micro-abrasives that diminish scratches and refine the clear coat without adding fillers. As long as the proper technique is used when touching the vehicle it should remain scratch-free.

@@ChemicalGuys My dogs have ruined my car with scratches by trying to get into it on top of my vintage bmw convertible. I would like clarification on your chemical treatment please. You are dealing with clear coat that was removed by scratching. An abrasive agent will grind the scratches away, with more clear coat and then what are you rebuilding the clear coat with? A wax? A polish? Or are you adding new clear coat? Because grinding away a scratch and then putting wax or a non permanent gloss on top, is not repair it's cosmetic treatment. It's not a respiration of the clear coat. Are you just cosmetically or permanently repairing the clear coat damage done by a scratch?

@@WHITEJEESUS Polishing and compounding a vehicle levels the clearcoat of the vehicle. When you do this this has been an industry practice for a every long time. With these vehicles these are abrasives that are added to the foam pad to help level the clear coat on the paint which is why you won't see scratches. So basically, your not adding clearcoat, this is to level and correct the clearcoat. After doing this process, you must do an IPA (Alcohol Wipe Down, 50% water, 50% isopropyl alcohol) on the panel and from there add any of your wax protection to help keep the panel easy to clean for the next car wash. Make sure NEVER to go at those automatic car washes and always practice safe car washing techinques to eliminate scratching.

I found both products especially your c4 slings like crazy even when you put 3 drops. It'll even sling at 1. Why is that?

You must spray the pad first with 1 spray of detail spray then apply the product to reduce and stop slinging.
