The season is at the end and it is then time to get the boat on land once again, so I first remove the sails and the sprayhood.

Good video and good job. I’ll be doing the same next weekend in Oslo. Cheers!

Hi there, do you not have any lats at all in your main sail, or did you remove them before you filmed ? I have the same mast / boat with 4 lats in the sail and it's a real pain removing them ... Just wondering !

Can the jib stay up if the haylard is not connected? I've always used hanked on jib and just bought a boat with furling jib . I noticed an extra haylard connect to the mast that I think is for the jib! In other words the jib might be up with just tension? I've probably sailed her 6 times already

Hi Tino, great video! Might I ask you to film the process of taking down the mast. Friend of mine have the boat/mast as yours and every year is a challenge to take it down and put it back. We can’t find the right way where and to hang the attachment point for the lift. Do have anything special made that you are attaching to mast before taking it down?

Nice video Tino. It's a sad time when you have to take it all down

Yes, and a lot of work. Regarding the sprayhood it is right now at the canvas guy and I get 3 new windows in the front + the stitching gets fixed.

@@twiper Nice! Tanja is making a cover this year so hopefully we can keep the glass alive for a long time. Let's see how that goes

@@SailingAurora The glass is so cheap to replace, a cover is not necessary. A total replacement is under 200 US Dollars and my glass lasted for 16 years.

Tino I don't know what your next boat will be, but to buy anything else than an odd X is wrong for you.
