Hey Ron, way to go on the repair job. Good use of the flat bar to separate the courses from one another.

Thanks Ron for the video. There are many ways to do such a repair and yours is as good as any. It's obvious that you have done this job many times before.

Well described! I searched many videos for this specifically, and you detailed it well - thank you!

Wow Ron, you cut the felt and don't lay new over the seam you created. This is why people call me to do a lot of work. Leaving it that way is pretty lazy but u did reseal them. If you cut felt run a new piece across and adhesive the patch. I would sling that hammer so hard directly onto the felt. Brace the impact with small 2x4. Felt is last line defense against mother nature.

I was surprised he ripped a shingle and didn't bother to replace it. Thank you for sharing though.

Well, here's proof positive that what you see on the internet you need to take with a 'grain of salt'....NEVER CUT SHINGLES, you remove them whole.....

When he lifted up those shingles to expose the bump, I was expecting him to find baby shingles being born 😁

I don't reuse the shingles when doing a repair. And when tearing a shingle in the removal process it would be removed and replaced. I curious as to why you never pulled any nails to remove the shingles and thought that it would be OK to put them back with rips and tears through them?

What is Womezon Remedy? I have noticed several awesome things about this fibroid remedy.
@rolltidecurtis11 жыл бұрын
not sure why he cut the shingles
@brandysucanick12459 жыл бұрын
He does it the sloppy way, it can be done a lot more professional without tearing up shingles, without trying to rush just making a nappy job...for the video of course. this is the quick $ way.
@TwentytenS4B89 жыл бұрын
brandy sucanick I always took the entire shingle out. No need to cut them. He also cut the felt and didn't lay new across the cut he made.
@TwentytenS4B89 жыл бұрын
Why cut the shingles all to pieces when you could remove an entire section un damaged? Look for the repair video by Gary Jones. He removes shingles the proper way.

Its still amaze me just how a number of people don't know about Womezon Remedy even though a lot of people treat their fibroid issue naturally with it. Thanks to my personal friend who told me about this. I've fix my fibroid issue naturally .

Oh, and by the way, I would have intuitively taken a flat object like a block of wood and pounded down what is clearly a nail-pop.......I never would have removed any shingles as you can 'feel' a nail..........
@garyK.45ACP5 жыл бұрын
NEVER let this guy on your roof! You do not cut the shingles up, you remove the entire shingle. He tore one of the tabs to the right when he was cutting up the shingles and didn't fix the tear. You should have overlayed the piece of felt underlayment you cut. It would take 15 minutes to do this job right. You did wrong in 10 minutes. Congratulations Sir, please, delete this video.

you ripped that home owners shingle when you took the last one out, the right tools make the right job yes use the flat bar too get underneath the shingle but use a nail puller too remove the nails, instead of cutting up his shingles dont be lazy and remove full shingles, you were just damaging the shingles and then re installing them.... LEIGHS ROOFING

You fixed a nail problem and destroyed the poor mans roof.. With a few dollars more you could match the roof with new shingles.
@lindsaytit934811 жыл бұрын
This guy is a COMPLETE CLOWN. Did you all notice him rip the shingle?! Cutting a roof shingle is NOT how it is done. You remove and replace the entire shingle.
@OliverTwisted019 жыл бұрын
You did damage the shingles. At least one I could see, you tore it in half. I don't think you have a clue as to what you are doing.
