How much does your guy charge to sharpen your bed knife?

silly question but i assume if you need your bed knife sharpened you need to remove the sol plate before sending it in?

Yeah mate, Your bedknife needs to be sharpened while it’s attached to you sole plate..

I use a screwdriver. I will place the soleplate in a bench vice then position half of the screwdriver on the end of the screw and knock it with a hammer. It always comes out

Do you think putting anti seize lubricant on the screws would help or would they vibrate loose?

I don’t think they would loosen and I definitely think it would help.. I think they become so stuck because that part of the mower receives such a beating, think about how much dirt/grass/juice/etc is pushed against the bed knife/sole plate.. Just one of those things I don’t think there’s a way around it..
