Jordan - Iam about to restore my late father in laws 45 from the 60's. The colour is apparently Green Avocado hammered. Can I ask where did you get the paint or have it painted? Excellent videos. Will take the reel and blade to Wynnum.

Hey mate, I got my paint custom colour matched from my local paint supplier.. I took in the chain cover and they matched the colour to the inside of it. I painted the machine myself with an air compressor and spray gun 👌

What’s the minimum blade length you’d work to before needing a new reel, and where would you measure it from?

G'day, is it OK to just change the cutting reel even though my bed knife is in not great shape? Or better to do both?

Definitely better to do both.. It would be like changing one side of a pair of scissors ✂️ and not the other.. If you have both sharpened it would be fine to do..

Hey mate, love the vids, in the second part of the video you say you adjusted it better, did you do this by making a fine adjustment, or did you repeat the entire process just taking care to not have the reel against the bed knife too much? Cheers!

Hi Mate, Please suggest do we need to turn the top adjusting screw clockwise or anticlock wise for bringing the reel closer to bed knife while doing adjustment?
