Just a message to anyone in the future attempting to get the earpad on... Check to make sure you didn't bend one of the plastic tabs in on the earpad side. I accidentally did this and wasted over 20 minutes trying to line up the pad, but every time I was missing one of the three tabs. If you DID bend a tab in fret not, just bend it up again using a flat head screwdriver SLOWLY. Hope this can help someone in the future.

I am not sure why you went through all of that??? You only need to turn counterclockwise to remove it, and clockwise to install it. Done. Took me 2 minutes tops.

Helped out big time, now if I can just figure out how to take the cable out so I can replace it..whenever I ordered them off ebay they were new, but they were the "diplay" version..if I would've known they cord had the cord permanently installed, I would've just paid the extra money for a brand new pair..they're still working perfect for about 5 years now, lol even though the aux cord is just just hanging together by 4 tiny wires

hii, i see u also removes the upper leather part of the headphones & I did the same but now i see that there is a thin cable there that is unprotective.. Do u think this is dangerous or since when do u use them like this ? thx so much, Rocio

My ear cups ”fell off” and i can’t seem to click them back in place there would always be one of the three notches not in place. How do i do it? Thanks.

Just keep trying, sometimes it took me 30 minutes to install it

Yeah... I've got the same problem. Can't get em on. Can't believe that I am having such a hard time. Edit: They already looked quite used so I decided to order new ones. However I still needed to use my headphones for now so I took a small knife and cut off a part of the outer rim which I believed was preventing me from putting it on more easily. I got it on right afterwards however I don't know how easily it'll be able to come off now. I can only hope that the new ones will be put on more easily.
