2013 Santa Fe limited. Taillight assembly is slightly different but the overall method is the same. It's frustratingly difficult to remove, but this video was fantastic help, thank you!

The black piece was screwed to the red piece on my 2013 Santa Fe so I couldn't pull that out separately. (My screws had to be removed first) otherwise everything else worked the same. Thank you.

Do yourself a favor and just replace both bulbs. If you replace just the brake light bulb, you know what’ll happen soon after you put everything back together?🤦‍♂️😂
