Was just driving and a giant truck pulled up alongside me. Dude motioned for me to roll my window down and I did and he told me my drivers side brake light was out. I said 'thank you brother for letting me know, I will go take care of that now!' I continued driving, stopped at the Auto box store and asked the lady at the counter about the proper brake light for my Santa Fe, picked that up, went home and pulled up KZbin and punched in my issue and this video came up. I watched it, grabbed my Philips head screwdriver and got it done. No problems, no issues. Beautiful video with all the info I needed. Thanks Virar Automotive!

Good video. I find a plastic paint scraper gently wiggled between the tailight unit and the body can break it loose if it's being stubborn.

Its a great video. Mine was really stuck on tight. I used plastic bicycle tire removal tools. I placed one on the end of one of the tools one the far right close to where the two screws are, and then slid the other tools underneath the light from the back to the front(small end of light) and then pulled from back end and twisted the small end. The light slid out very easy. I was so surprised it came out than easy because it was about 1 and a half hour later of trying other methods in which none worked. Maybe I'll make a KZbin video on how I did it. Thanks for your help though

My 2018 Santa Fe Sport uses 2357 bulbs. Not sure what changes are, but original equipment is 2357 on mine.

2057 and 2357 are interchangeable. www.vleds.com/cross-reference-guide. So either one you put in should be okay.

​@@VirarAutomotive Not a small difference. I went to three different parts stores looking for a brake light that would fit in the ORANGE socket. There are none. After much time spent just trying to change a bulb, I finally figured it out on my own by comparing it to the other side. The least you could have done is edit your video with a voiceover, or even some on-screen messaging about the change, would've saved a lot of effort. I guess in the unlikely event I watch another of your videos, I'll make sure the instructions actually match the car they are intended for.

Hmm. May I suggest that you check the bulb connection. Try taking the bulb out, try moving it in around in the bulb socket a little bit. Sometimes a bad contact may cause it to not work.

Good video. Just missing 3 things. There is a small bracket that covers the two screws and you may get a hernia sliding the lamp off the side of the car and taking 5 minutes is a real stretch for removal. Watch this for bracket kzbin.info/www/bejne/jaKzl2mknraohdE
