tthese are now 1800 adding all the mods you need to get 65 to 70 mph runs it over 2000. a 2005 klr 250 can be had for 1500 real clean 2000 and they go 80 in 5th gear and 90 in 6th. so as much fun as these are until they get back down to 1300 get a used japanese bike. they are so much safer and powerful and faster. i feel these companies because of the pandemic and americans love for duel sports have gone nuts with the prices. im going to buy a magician when they become available and cheaper. so im not cutting chinese bikes. but if you can get a good cleean klr 250 for 1500 to 2000. grab it. you will thank me. btw dude.. you do great videos

Where did you get the roller cam followers?
@xmoto73773 жыл бұрын
Ali express, search CG 250 roller cam followers and a bunch should pop up. It takes a long time for shipping but so does the cam

Just subbed to your channel. I’ve been trying to get this damn bike ordered but everybody is out of stock and the coronavirus has the shipping on hold. I’m hoping by early/mid June I’ll have mine at my door. Most definitely going to be utilizing your videos to modify my bike. I would’ve taken that air box lid off to open it up if I hadn’t seen this video lol. I will be watching more of your videos as they are posted. Thanks again for the info packed videos!

Another great video. Keep it up! If it's not too late can you show us how to properly lash the valves when you put it back together for the next episode? I'm not exactly certain where I'm supposed to insert the feeler gauge.

totalnoobfishing is correct there are tons of places to show you where to stick the feeler gauge but whenever i finish head porting, and get it back from the machine shop i will be sure to include that in the video for ya!

Bro did you ever find the push rods I really need some can’t find them
@xmoto73772 жыл бұрын
There are some out there, but turns out chromally push rods make a lot more noise than mild steel rods

Hey do i need to do anything to my tbr7 engine for the nibbi carb
@xmoto73773 жыл бұрын
So the engine itself no, but you need to replace the intake manifold if you want an easy bolt on design there is one that you have to order from China that will take a while for shipping, or you can order the nibbi QCR intake and that will also fit, however it requires some modification to fit (cut and portmatched) to get maximum power I believe I explained it in one of my videos on what exactly had to be done because I used the QCR intake

@@xmoto7377 so what do you know about the chain i bought a 428 x126 x ring chain what do you think?
@xmoto73773 жыл бұрын
@@mikenarug1 that's a great quality chain, just when you install it make sure it does not rub on anything, also what is your sprocket setup? That will effect the number of links and your chain adjustment
@xmoto73773 жыл бұрын
@@mikenarug1 I just checked to see what size chain I have and it's a 130 link the stock chain on these bikes is a 126 but those stock chains loosen up like crazy, I would cancel that order on the 126 link and go for a 128 or a 130 link one, you can always take links off too if need be, better safe than sorry!!

I have some cut to length chromoly pushrods coming. I didn't install them with my cam because they took too long to get here. I will be installing them and doing a video once they arrive. I will let you know for sure what I ordered once I know they will work, so bear with me! The original pushrods should be ok as long as you don't rev past 9000rpm, but I get the desire for that extra bit of insurance. As far as the intake, yes, I had that exact same problem on my Hawk with that exact intake, and even the shorter ones that others run with the PWK carbs. THIS is the CQR intake I had to run to clear the frame. The Nibbi version, while much nicer, is also not angled as far out as the rubber one linked here. This one clears everything, although it does then cause a slight issue with the throttle cable rubbing the tank underneath, but that is a LOT easier to find a solution for than the frame being in the way. www.chinahao.com/product/581545449897/
@OddBallPerformance4 жыл бұрын
For a comparison of the two CQR intakes, scroll down to posts 146 and 147 on this thread. You can see the difference in the angle. www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?p=308738

Thanks for the reply!!! That makes sense I actully just finished up the build and got the intake port matched perfectly, and now I'm fiddling with jetting lol my jetting numbers are crazy!!! 2 New videos soon
@OddBallPerformance4 жыл бұрын
@@xmoto7377 35 pilot, needle second clip, 135 main will likely be close to what you need. Obviously it depends on a lot of factors, including the port work, but I have found that jetting combo worked the best on my bike with my intake with the ported head.

@@xmoto7377 I doubt it would surprise me too much to be honest. You have me curious though. What I would be interested in is a before and after jetting comparison. Did you ever get the carb dialed in before the port work?
