Thank you. I bought a foot rest online to attach it in my ikea chair base. I watched several YT videos and look for "how to guides" in forums in disassembling the chair few days ago but the best I got is hammering the base out of it. So today after hammering the base with my wrench 3 times with mediocre intensity, I thought I should try to search for instructional video in youtube for one last time. Does not work, the piston is still stuck on the bottom of the seat and the gas container is stuck to the base too. This did nothing but waste my time taking the two pieces apart. I need the whole thing taken out.
