How to remove the door handles on a mk6 ford fiesta

The Haynes manual says nothing about pressing that bit down all the way before refitting. Frustration gone, money saved! Thank you.

Any chance of figuring out how those little triangles panels in front of the wind mirrors come off? That will be my next project. Along with the door moulds on the sides, I know the short pieces are adhesive however. Spent this evening painting all my grey trims around the bonnet area. She’s looking mighty sexy now.

Great, was the same for fiesta 2004. For the driver's door just take care that the lock is in position to get the screw in.

Hi @deltaunit7 mate. This video helped loads, thank you! I'm currently also painting my grey, tired-looking plastic trimming on my 3-door Fiesta to black. Do you know how to take the B-pillar trimming off? I would assume I pull them out but I don't want to break any clips and have to order new pillar trimming if that's the case...

Hello, unfortunately iv not got my fiesta anymore, I upgrade to a focus zetec s a few months ago and never got round to actually painting the side mouldings :( iv heard of a neat trick where you wedge playing cards down the back of the moulding all the way round and then just primer and paint them, I would certainly get a good key on the plastic first before do thing this and buy quality paint.

Anythingg Hello, it's abit late for me to do a video on this as iv already sprayed all my trim black, what I recommend is sanding them down lightly with 600 sandpaper, 2 coats of primer, another light sanding and then some simoniz tough black spray paint for 3 coats. Comes out brilliant

Anythingg I believe you can buy second hand factory painted ones for about 20 quid, will probably cost similar to paint them yourself too
