5:22, that tool is for unclipping plastic rivets linking usually 2 body parts plastic to plastic or plastic to frame. If you really want to keep your interior scratch free there is a whole world of nylon or plastic prying tools for dash/trim removal work Or at least wrap the neck of the tool with clothe (old tshirt)

I’ve used 3m in a few scenarios including a phone mount in the past and was not happy with it. No doubt it’s impressive stuff but not suited for my application.
