You glued it closed the wrong way

Just disconnect it and build a voltage divider across the loom plug pins by putting a 1kohm resistor across positive and sense wire (Grey/Red and Yellow/Green on my Yamaha) and a 250ohm across negative and sensor wire (Grey/Black and Yellow/Green on my Yamaha). DISCLAIMER: Do this at your own risk but worked for me

I had a low side on an fz09 2 weeks ago, still rode it to and from work and then the other night I rode to the grocery store and bike. Did wheelies and burnouts fine, pulled from a light and it shut off like someone hit the kill switch. CEL turned on and the odometer said err. I'm thinking I have a broke sensor, but it'll turn on and idle for a few seconds fine and then kill. Just looking for input.

Nice vid! Quick question if you see this, my bike got caught in the rain one time and my tilt sensor plug got burnt and my bike won’t start could this be a reason why my bike isn’t starting? It’ll turn over just won’t turn on

It could be... but one would also want to figure out why that plug burned in the first place.

Hi. I've just bought a 2018 09 SP and having traction control all the way off it won't past a decent angle of wheelie. It doesn't shut down, but it keeps me from increasing the angle. It's like it kill the spark for miliseconds and then it goes up again... I have 2 videos showing it. Would you think it is this censor? Thanks very much!

The one dam sensor i havnt checked on my r6. I have a feeling it's this pos unit. Will check soon. Bike turned on before.... someone dropped it at my place 😒 And when puttin everthin back together, didn't turn on, but didn't think there wasnt a "cut off" unit on this bike since I havnt rode in for ever. @@Twinstunts well I recently replaced it with a new 1. Redid the tank with new liner. I just ordered a new battery few minutes ago. Bought new starter relay (ended up not workin) New oem fuel relay (still didn't turn on) Checked stator and starter... Leaves me to this last sensor and will for sure mod that sensor. 👍 Be safe bud👍🤘

@@Twinstunts sounds like that sensor is broken. Took it off, havnt open it yet. Crossing fingers it'll turn on tomorrow 👍 gona do the silicone fill Edit: yup was stuck on the "shut off" side. Going to put silicon tonight 👍 thanks for this vid man. 🤘

I glued it with silicone and it shows error code 9000, which is the tilt over sensor, it shows the same error code when tilt sensor is unplugged. Mine is 2001 Fzs1000, Fz1, any idea to rectify this?
