Lmao. I was struggling to get the non decorative tacks out of the bottom of an old chair. I have a tack remover tool, but I have no idea where it came from, and I was this days old til I knew what it was. 😂 Thank you!

What about removing the fabric (leather) held down by the tacks on a strip? the needle nose pliers won't work, as one cannot see the tack. nice vid . feeling more confident about my project (restuff attached sofa cushions)

I have a two accent chairs that have bronze racks. I want to remove them and replace with silver ones. Should I remove one at a time and replace with the silver ones so they are spaces the same? Will it be easy to put the new ones in.

Hi Renee, apologies for the delayed response. You could do that, it depends on your tools but I would imagine that it would be easier than taking them all out then trying to put them in. 😊 Another couple of options is that you can mark the spaces of the removed tacks with a pen or a small marker or you can purchase the upholstery tack strips. The strips are nice because it will only require you to insert a tack every few spaces to hold the strip in place.
