Use soft scrub on the sole only wrap them in saran wrap sit them in the sun rotating them 1/2 turn 30 min in and boom! It may take 2-3 times depending on how bad they are.

Good question. Icy Bottoms are transparent soles. You see them on a lot of Jordans and Yeezys, etc. They also tend to turn yellow over time.

No. Do not use Sole Bright on the sockliner or inside the sneaker. It will burn the fabric. Your best chance to clean the inside would be a little bleach mixed with some soap and water, and a lot of scrubbing. Best of luck.

A lot of soap and scrubbing. The more bubble you create, the more dirt they will lift out of the sock liner. They will never be perfectly white again, but with some work, they can come close.

I actually left out part of the video where I used Magic Eraser to remove a few black scuffs. Sole Bright will only deal with the oxidation. It will not remove scuffs.

It’s not a super noticeable difference. I’ve tried it. That being said, if you do it, just be very careful not to get any on the leather. I hope this was helpful.

To be honest, it only lasts for like a week. I’ve been messing around with matte finish spray paint to try to “seal” the rubber so it doesn’t oxidize so fast, but no luck so far.

Because I was removing oxidation, not covering the yellow. White paint would crack and fall right off of a rubber midsole and outsole.

That's a great question. They work on icy bottoms, but it takes around 2 or 3 tries. That said, if the iridescent bottoms are starting to yellow, it's due to only one thing...oxidation. The whole purpose of Sole Bright is to remove yellowing caused by oxidation so logically, it should work. If you try it, please let me know if it works out. Thanks for watching!

@@niccolomaiolino3455 That thin area of rubber above the stitching? I hear you. It’s annoying, but honestly, when the midsole is white again, you won’t even notice that thin line of yellow. Or if you really want to, get a thin paint brush and go over it very gently. As long as you don’t glob it onto the stitch area it should be a problem. I hope this was helpful.

I did the exact same method with my AF1’s that you did. Applied generously, wrapped it in transparent plastic wrap, left it out in the sun for 1-3 hours and although they come out nice, they turned yellow again after 2-3 days (this is my 5th doing the same process). Does anybody know what I’m doing wrong? My angelus bottle was different than yours tho. It’s a smaller white bottle with a black lid but it also guarantees removing oxidation and restoring yellowed midsoles according to the instructions.

They shouldn’t have turned yellow again after 3 days, but if you go through the process again, then spray them down with Rust-Oleum clear matte finish, they should stay white for longer.

This is common. Soul bright is basically hydrogen peroxide which bleaches the yellow back to white. Hydrogen peroxide needs uv light to bleach. Eventually it will come back yellow and even more yellow. You can get hydrogen peroxide anywhere.

After you whiten them, you can spray them with a clear coat enamel. It’s not guaranteed, but it will prevent air from hitting the rubber and oxidizing. It’s just my theory, but it makes sense.
