I love my o-Cedar mop too! I bought mine at Target for a cleaning job. The product is made in Germany. I didn’t know about the arrow on the top side. Glad you love your o-Cedar mop too

I do have one, but threw out the box and the directions, you know like you do... and could not for the life of remember how I had installed the mop head to try and take it off. I love my mop. When I first bought it, I jumped on FB and said "OMG! Someone solved mopping! Its like they ran a focus group, and asked what is that you hate about mopping? And then fixed all those problems." Touching the mop head, or the water, is of course high on the list in "ick factors" with regard to mopping. O'cedar has done a great drastically reducing my exposure to these unpleasant facets of domesticity. I do believe this was the first time I have ever had to touch the head post installation. But I did it. It was quick, and if I only have touch it once every three months... I think can live with that.

I bought this mop years ago and have just decided that it’s time to try it. lol I had no luck with the instructions about removing the mop head. I stepped on it, pulled and pulled and snap! I stood there with the detached handle in my hand, and the red triangle still firmly attached to the head. Thankfully I got it back together and found your much easier way. Thanks!

Thanks so much. Couldn't figure it out. I love my mop. I've tried others on a laminate floor but this one works great because it wrings its out really well and actually cleans and with a bucket of hot water with a little Dawn and a little white vinegar it works great where others fail. And easier.

Thank you for the demonstration it was a big help. I wanted to clean it but could not get it off. I didn't want to break it. This is the best mop I have ever owned. It is worth every penny. For decades I hand wrung my mops and with arthritis it was becoming quite difficult. I didn't mop as often because it was too painful. Since I got this I am back to my weekly cleaning of my floors. After my grand-daughter took the mop outside to mop the patio and lawn, the head really needed to be replaced, as it was filled with pine needles and twigs. But the patio and grass were clean -LOL! Great information! My wife has been asking me for weeks now to try to get the mop off so she can clean it. The only problem we've had with the product is the "stepper" on the bucket froze so we can no longer wring the mop out. I always have a splash of bleach in my bucket. It keeps my mop white and a little more sanitary. It only takes a splash no big deal.

Thank you. We have considered this mop. In general, I try to do the "hands and knees" thing. However, when it's really rainy and my husband and dog come in fifty times a day, a good mop is much easier than constantly using rags and doing things by hand. Take care and Happy New Year!
