Seriously, I have worked on these cars and interiors most of my life.. From stereos to full restorations, hydraulics back in the day, rebuilding motors.. you name it.. I am in awe of how you are able to rebuild these and still capture the OG lines and feel on these cars and at the same time give them a modern spin that doesnt alienate the vibe of the car.. A true craftsman.

Ive been able to save hard to replace 1993-1997 Gen4 camaro interior parts thanks to learning from you how to fiberglass them to make them stronger. Question would it not have been more easier to modify the dash pad with the front window out and do you have the ability to remove the front window for projects like this one going forward
@jntcustomcars
@jntcustomcars 2 жыл бұрын
I would assume that he would have not found out that the dash did not fit if window was out. But since it was in he realized the wood hit the windshield.

I think it’s better with the glass in so you’ll actually know if it hits but if you was fiberglassing it still in the car...I would say it’ll be better to remove the windshield

as long as you take care of it as you would the outside of your car it will last forever and also use a windshield cover inside to protect the dash or if you can do a 50% tint on you windshield to cut down on the sun beating down on it!!!!

Proof that because someone makes something look easy it doesn’t mean it is easy. Most people would be tempted to skip steps here and there but you won’t get the SprayWay results. The bedliner texture is genius, made it look as if it’s leather or vinyl wrapped from the factory. That orange is a mean color, my favorite 2nd only to the Corvettes “torch red” which has a hint of orange as well so it pops. The final result is flat out amazing. This man is a true craftsman and artist. Bravo SprayWay.

Many thanks from an Aussie , got every idea & everything I need in one watch to do the dash in my motorhome. I’ve used magnets before but never thought of doing that with the speakers and vents. Just a great presentation, thanks mate.

A tip. You can tie the fabric that’s lifting from the staples with unwax santal floss. And leave it in when you fiberglass over it. To hold the shape.

Salute my G. I not only subscribed recently but I have even watched some of the ads in their entirety to help you get paid a bit more. I watch hoping I have time to do one of my ride semi close to the pieces of art you’ve done. You’re respectful and I know many a car customizer has made money from what you have shown here. Thank you for showing us the secrets of your art. Be blessed
