Okay full disclosure, I heard your accent that thought “this guy is going to be a hack”. I’ve watched about 6 or 7 dash restoration videos to get ready to restore my Firebird dash. You blow the other ones out of the water. Your work is insanely good. They’re playing basketball in the street and you’re dunking in the NBA. Nice job my man. I think I’m going to spend a few days of my life watching all of your videos now. I was going to make a-pillar pods for my G8 GXP too and I’m glad to see you’ve made some and had a link already ready for me. KZbin needs you, and those Indian college professors teaching math in short videos. They’re the reason I made it through calc 2. ✌🏼

First of all, very nice videos and informative thanks for putting it out there. I do have a couple of questions regarding your process: 1. Why do you use fleece material as a base? Is it the adhesion properties for the fiber glass? 2. Can you use a spray gun instead of a brush when applying the fiber resin to the fiberglass fibers or your special mixture of Rondo after the fiberglass has been sanded down and surface prepped? Thanks for the reply in advance.
@SprayWayCustoms
@SprayWayCustoms 4 жыл бұрын
Yes, I use the fabric for adhesion purposes. I never tried to spray the Rondo through a gun but that sounds like a good idea 💡

For those who don't know, now you see why it cost to get things done in fiberglass! It's ALOT of work!! I had a custom stereo done in Memphis before it was a big thing. I learned so much watching the guy who did it. ANYONE who does this kind of work, has ALL of my RESPECT!!! Man the sanding and sanding....and SANDING....did I mention sanding??🤔😳 just to get it perfect!!! This guy is ON POINT!!! If you don't want to pay for the work, don't ask for a cheap price with fiberglass work! That's insulting!!

Just wanted to let you know that I been watching your videos and it's really inspired me to start to do my own fabricating using fibreglass. I have been leary of it in the past, but watching your vids and hearing your comments, I'm definitely going to give it a go. Very excited to try this out and see what I can come up with- Love your work and thank you so much for sharing your wisdom and talent with us!

SprayWayCustoms You’ve made that very clear! :). I been bin watching your vids and can’t get enough! I really appreciate how detailed you are and descriptive you explain things instead of just fast forwarding through possible things that could be missed. Keep the vids coming and I’ll keep watching! I’ll be sure to hit you up when I tackle my first project. I just bought a 2004 350Z Super-charged Roadster. Planning on putting in a few mods, but want to completely do the dash up modern. If I run into issues, I may contact you to gleam some of your imagination and know-how! :)
