Hello Tom thank you for showing a mower of today that lifts the sickle bar up no hand lifting great it sure seems hard just to replace the sickle . But it sounds like you are very familiar with the mowers on the Farmall A ,B,C, and 100 that bolt on the back of tractor like we had we had great mowing with are's p.s. we had a hitch mounted on the mower which was nice .any way thanks again for the hands on video 🏆

thank you for watching. i know there was a hydraulic fold option on the old ih highway mowers and the late model 1300 pitmanless mowers, but most of them required your getting off the tractor and doing it manually. i’ll do a fast hitch mower video once it cools down a bit

When torquing the bolts back on, to what torque number should you tighten them?

I would encourage you to install the correct bolt in the knife arm the factory bolt head is chamfered like the nut which when tightened causes that sleeve to expand locking it in place when you loosen the bolt the bolt nut and sleeve can be removed together makes things easier and quicker

@@LedgemereHeritageFarm I actually figured out that it came out that way by accident I have a manual I’d have to go back and look if it tells you those come out together I’m fixing one up I’ve got it together but having trouble with it stopping up in thin grass!
