Well you are very very thorough on what you discuss .My Dad Never even heard of internet but if he had he would have watched this in a heart beat.We only had the sickle bar mower from the Farmall dealer that boltes on to back of the A's and 100 tractors he loved those mowers and no jam ups well hardly🤔 But you are great

Great video buddy. Question..sir i just got myself a frontier 3107 on marketplace..one of the knifes needs replacement. Does the whole cutter bar need to come off??

@@LedgemereHeritageFarm thank you I on another video that you mentioned torquing down that bolt that hold the whole cutter bar in place. To what torque spec is it required?

Other folks with this type of mower complain about them shaking bolts loose and say they require lock tight, have you had any bolts/nuts vibrate loose ? Have you replaced a knife or rock guard yet I would be interested in the process.

i’m currently working on a video where i’m servicing the knife. i’ve not had anything fall off/break or shake loose during three years of use . i sometimes hit stones with the rock guards because i didn’t see them coming but they always ride up over them. i did make it trip out once but it went back in without issue. i am really happy with mine. stay tuned as the video is coming out within a week or so. thank you for watching

I have a 7 foot Sitrex sickle bar mower and after three years I hate it .

I have this mower and have had nothing but problems with it. After about 1/3 acre of mowing all the bolts get loose and I have to find all the parts in my hay field. Have spent an additional $400 buying blade guards. It seems to vibrate excessively. Do you have any issues with bolts and blade bars breaking? I’m about to fix it for the last time and sell it.

Ouch. I’m sorry to hear about that. I have not had any issues whatsoever with mine and I cut about 15-20 acres a year

I have the Enorossi 7 ft 3 pt sickle bar. mower on my Mahindra 1538. I have used it for about 5 years to mow hay and to clip my pastures. It works very well and I have been happy with it. So glad it has the hydraulic lift.

Do you have any problems with clogging the mower up?

only when the second crop has come in behind the first crop and im trying to cut both. I lift the sickle at every corner in that case instead of trying to cut the corner off

@@christianhirschmann9273 I don’t know what the current Gaspardo pricing is, but I saw that the Frontier version (Gaspardo painted JD Green) is about $7500. 😳. Mine cost in the vicinity of $4500 in early 2020.

@@LedgemereHeritageFarm They are arounf 6000Euro. To much in my opinion. I buyed a FPM busatis mower 1,9meter for 2400 Euro. Im quite happy at thje moment aldow i have to learn a lot about this tipe of mower
