Need to get this tool! My dog jumped up on me and created a long snag on my alpaca sweater's sleeve. I ended up using a bobby pin that did fine but still I was left with a run. Did my best to pull the fabric back and forth trying to help it to blend. Thankfully it's black and not noticeable to everyone. Thank you for introducing me to this tool that was made for this kind of repair.

I want to commend you for the fact that right off the bat you strongly advised against snipping off the snagged thread! I saw other tutorials and snipped it ! Wish I had seen this first ! And foremost the fact you took the time to create a PDF with pictures ! You have no idea how much time I spend to repeat the video take screenshots go over the transcript

How to you remove a snag that is at the bottom in the front of the hem on pants? Unstitch a few stitches ?
@TailorItYourself2 жыл бұрын
Pull it through all the layers of the hem.

I have a tartan fabric from a mill. And a snag tore. The weave is pretty tight, but How bad can this torn snag get over time

I was wondering how to fix an embroidery patch that turned out almost perfect, if it wasn't for a crazy snag. Thank you*
@TailorItYourself Жыл бұрын
Depends on the snag. Sometimes when there's a loose "float" of thread, I'll snip the thread and then gently wave the flame of a lighter over the little ends that might be left behind to melt the threads and keep them more secure.

Will this work with a safety pin?
@TailorItYourself Жыл бұрын
Perhaps, if you can poke the thread just right enough to grab it on the other side. But you may find it just keeps slipping past and won't actually grab the thread to push it through.

Could you possibly help me? I have a very interesting stitch that came undone, but it’s still connected to my shirt sleeve where my hand is. Is there a way to send you a pic of this. I just got this fleece zip up and it bugs me
