How to repair a stucco ceiling crack and re attach drywall tape to drywall

In this video we show you how to quickly and easily repair a stucco ceiling after the drywall tape has come loose from the drywall on the ceiling, causing the stucco to crack. It's a fast, easy and inexpensive way to do the repair yourself, and will only take you a few minutes to accomplish.

Pro painter here. Great video, but here's a tip. Put the compound in a plastic bag or ziplock, cut off tip and use it like a pastry bag. You can squeeze the compound in with no mess, and itll work its way into all the gaps and you can cotrol the amount you dispense easier👌. Then squirt the remainder into the bucket and your good

Hi great video I have this issue in bedroom.In Ireland is drywall compound the same thing as polyfiller? silly question ot would caulk do the same job

We have these in some rooms. Is the crack always straight? Some of ours out straight but others look like a mountain ridge, but both run along the edge like in this video. We have textured ceilings.

Hello, I'm trying to find a way to repair my ceiling and walls that is seprating an the insulation is falling through I really need help! Is there any other way to fix it an save money doing it myself? If you would like to see pictures I can send them. wow! that is so much better than all other videos I've seen, I was so scared of having to remove all the tape and have to re-tape it. If you paint this, you will eliminate your option to remove the popcorn at a later time. It adheres to the ceiling permanently and won't scrape off.

not true, the easiest method is to spray it with a warm water/vinegar mix, wait 5-10 minutes and then if it's wet enough even a painted popcorn ceiling will come off like butter, yes I've done it. it's only difficult if you are trying to scrape the ceiling when it's dry
