Thanks for sharing and really detailed Video. I have replaced door handle successfully as shown. The handle was broken as yours. However, a new problem appeared after replacement. The door now cannot be closed. When closing door I cannot hear the “click” sound and door is not closed properly and machine don’t start. Anyone have the same problem before and have a solution? I’m guessing the door lock is too old and new door handle is too spring-ie so the lock cannot click into place?

To open the door, first unplug the power. Then you first have to take off the lid so you can see into the washing machine from the top. Then you can see the latch mechanism and there is a white cover you can pull straight up. Then you can see the tip of the locking mechanism of the door. Push the locking mechanism backwards and the door will open.
