How to repair an American Standard Spectra Versa shower head with a stuck diverter valve part 2.

This is a follow up video to my Part 1 video where I show how to disassemble the shower valve and remove the diverter valve. This will eliminate the chance of breaking the diverter valve when you remove it.

Thank you for this video!! We were facing this exact issue. After watching this follow up to your first video, we ended up reaching out to the company, and they sent a replacement rotary diverter. Just installed it and it works great now! I would encourage anyone experiencing this issue to reach out to American Standard because they have a permanent fix now with the replacement rotary diverter.

I like your video was very informative and that happened to me it broke, I was going to clean it up and grease, so now I have to replace it and I’m sure I have the same reverted valve but I want to make sure, would you happen to know the part number so I can order the right one, Thank you 👍

If you call American Standard and tell them what you have, they will be able to find the part number and send you a replacement valve free of charge since the fixture has a lifetime warranty.

Hey, same here, I saw your first video and went at it with my needle nose, "Broke it" same way. "NOW" , where do I find a replacement for it, since I have been looking for 2 days and no Luck?? I tried regular Home Depot, Amazon and local hardware stores, and even contacted American Standard. Where did you guys find a replacement? Thanx GOD Bless !!! Raul Metro PHX

Just FYI, they have discontinued the push button diverter and are replacing with a rotary diverter. I just contacted them on their website and they are sending a replacement today.

@@jamesp5752 "WOW", these idiots sent me a replacement cartridge for the push button, and since I installed it, the push button does NOT work the same. So all I need to do is call them again?? Thank You !!!!

I just received the new diverter, its a turn/rotary not a push button. Instructions included in the box. I think the part # is 103133XXX0@@krististimac
