Те кто смеётся над таким ремонтом далёк от ремонта! Парни молодцы в таких условиях восстановить блок это мастерство! Сам латал блок после кулака простой пластиной из металла и полуавтомата только пластина должна быть железная и никак не чугунная!

@@Alex_Foxter если внимательно посмотреть то там изначально пластины приваривают к блоку и меж собой а чем потом герметизируют швы непонятно может эпоксидка или другой состав делается это для того чтоб не текло масло через поры если таковые образуются!

In Canada that would go to the scrapyard.. its unreal how we have become a through away society... I've seen lots of old tractors with brass on the engine blocks and there still running. Nice to see people actually fix things.

I imagine It must be pretty reliable. Think of it this way. This is a pretty big job and whoever the client is owns a tractor, meaning he is running a business as well. If this repair job truly was not reliable he would never go to him in the first place and if it did turn out to not be reliable, I highly doubt the vendor would get much business and find another trade to put his time into. Not to mention that no matter where you are in the world, people are people and if it didn't work he would have some very angry customers at his door the next day.

If your going to repair such a fatal injury as this why didn't he bolt the block on to a straight edge for alignment twist first, the block is really to weakened to be of commercial use.

Lets weld up some humongous holes in a block. Clean it?? Naah, even vee out the cracks? Naah. Then weld some rusty old steel to the cast iron with a stick welder and no welding shield. Apart from the eye damage you can see nothing anyway. All done rolling it around on the dirt. And will it all be machined back square? Naah. The main tunnel will be eons out of square with all that welding

Bud, that engine block will probably still be motoring on long after your current motor has ceased to be economically sound. I've seen repairs like this that were done as far back as in the 50's, and they've lasted just fine, no snapped cranks or anything daft like that. Basically if it didn't work they wouldn't bother doing it.

Насрал сваркой и замазал суперклеем. Готов спорить что этот ремонт долго не проходит так как, блок потерял жесткость после установки в него тяжеленного коленвала будет нагрузка на стенки которые прослабленны, вскоре появятся трещины и блок начнет потеть или вовсе лопнет.

Yes I think it was, but he was only using that to fill in the small pockets and cavities on the surface around the welded area, a bit of a cosmetic makeover. The repair actually looks ok, but you have to wonder if the crankshaft main bearing housings are still inline after such a large repair and heat either side of the block in that area.
