You and your products sir, are amazing! I have used Logitech Harmony for over 15 years (on my third Harmony 665 in all that time. I treat them well (they look brand new!), but eventually the infamous "All off" and some of the function buttons would stop working. When Logitech stopped making the Harmony series, I didn't know what to do! My parents live with me and they are not tech savvy enough to manipulate four remotes (plus mouse and keyboard for an HTPC)... I would pop out to E-Bay on occasion and be in shock that what I paid $65 for last time was well over $150 now... and then I ran across your store. Screwdriver, spudger, alcohol and 10 minutes and my remote is brand new again! LOL I feel like I should buy a couple of your kits, as a "just in case" scenario... but I know how to find you now and will be a lifelong customer until Logitech (or someone else) gets wise again. Thanks again!

I successfully repaired my Harmony 650 with your repair kit today, following this video. THANK YOU!
@arischaeffer5304 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for creating these, came super fast, easy to follow and now the 650 is as good as new. Two things that helped: for the adhesive hiding the two top screws, nothing i had from guitar pic to a legit pry tool and spudger was thin enough to get the initial leverage, but a small flathead from a precision screwdriver kit worked to get me enough room for the srcraper tool. I can see why most people end up accidentally snapping this part. Getting the shell pried open was easier from the gap under this area at the top then trying to slip from the bottom ala the video. Might save someone a second or two after me.

Thanks for a good product and a very helpful instructional video. A lesson I learnt is to not buy cheap pry tools.

These are great! I've been able to rebuild 2 harmony 700 to good as new. Also used parts from one I got on ebay so now I should be good for a few years till someone makes a decent replacement remote. Thanks much!

Hey, just wanted to give a shout out to Buttonworx... your repair kit worked to fix the mute button on my Harmony 650, which is the only one that was broken. I still have to give it a firmer press than I would like, but it works. Super easy installation. Just a genius product!

Works great. I followed the instructions in the video and now my 650 works like new. Took less than 10 minutes. Thanks again! 👍

Refurbished my 700! I had to replace the “all off” rubberized portion button by sacrificing the “enter” or “e” rubber, (a button I rarely/never use) to make it work- i just trimmed it out. Maybe i can find a dead harmony on ebay to make it “right” anyway-your product insert and cleaning instructions helped tremendously! Thank you! Maybe another 10 years out of my harmony?! Who knows!

This works great. Now, I should get a few more years out of the 665 remote. I received it this morning and had it installed in about 45 minutes. Thank you!

Great product! Case disassembly especially the adhesive plastic piece is hardest part, & that's not too difficult. You will need a #00 Phillips screwdriver, take your time on prying it apart. Thanks so much for creating this repair piece, my remote works perfectly again!

Thank you for the tip about the top 2 screws under the little cover.I was able to clean the inside after a spilled drink made some keys inoperable. Thanks!!

Thanks for the good product and the helpful instructional video. A lesson I learnt - don't buy cheap pry tools. The cheap plastic tools that I had became mangled and I had to do the prying with a small flat screwdriver - not the best method. My fault - not anyone else's. Cheers to all

I have a Harmony 650 and everything works fine except the mute button. I disassembled it and it looks very clean but I cleaned the contacts anyway. Still doesn't work. I went and ordered this ButtonWorx repair part and I'll give it a try, but IDK... the circuit board has a component labeled SW1 that looks like it may be soldered to the mute button contacts and maybe that is what has failed? We'll see.

I would like to buy the new "put in place" harmony repair that you show how to install in this video. It is not on your website. Where do I buy this? Thank you.
@p1repair2 жыл бұрын
The single put in place version was difficult to assemble due to the materials being thinner and also curling. Then it caused a laser fire. I have discontinued making them. Sorry
@steelers2673 Жыл бұрын
@p1repair I'm confused, you say you discontinued this but I just bought one from your website that links to this video on how to install. Is the item I just bought safe to install? A laser fire doesn't sound like a good thing.
@noelwade Жыл бұрын
@@steelers2673 - I think he means while manufacturing the kit he had a laser fire. There are no lasers inside the remote, and the kits available for purchase work great; I just installed mine an hour ago.

@p1repair Жыл бұрын
Do you mean the battery contact? it would need to be soldered. There is conductive epoxy but it's harder to use and more expensive than a Doller General soldering iron. If you send me a picture I may be able to help more.
