Hello, I didn’t buy your kit but I followed your guide on how to disassemble and clean the pcb. This helped me revive a remote I thought was dead for years. Thank you!!

Just installed my ButtonWorx Harmony repair kit. Took only about 15 minutes and solved all of my problems. Thank you so much! I can't believe how long I have been dealing with the buttons not working when there was such a quick and easy solution out there.

I just finished this and it worked perfectly! I cannot thank you enough for this. We have 3 TV's, and we use a Harmony 650 to control each TV and peripheral. My wife loves 650's because we don't have a ton of sitting remotes sitting out on a table, and even though each room has a different setup, she doesn't have to learn to use a dozen or more different remotes. Logitech has discontinued the 650 and I dread the day when she has to learn to use a new remote. Because of that, I have two brand new spare 650's that I have been saving for when an old remote quit working. When our living room 650 started giving us problems, I programed one of the spares. ordered your kit, repaired the old remote, and put the spare back in the drawer for when something fatal happens to one of our 650's

After fully cleaning with alcohol my Harmony 300 went from having unresponsive buttons to being fully responsive like new. There's nothing on the market like these remotes and it's sad Logitech discontinued them. Thanks!

Many thanks. Like others, opened it up, cleaned it and placed the parts in place. Improvement was immediately noticed. Well worth the cost to extend the remote life. Especially that they are no more available to purchase.

My old 650 had several buttons failing and I went to purchase a new one, that's when I found out Logitech had abandoned the market... Found your video on my search and immediately ordered your kit. Installed today and it works like new! Thank you so much for doing this for all of us!

Your attention to detail in how you created these kits and the precise detail in installing them is mind blowing! Right down to the tiny cuts in the sticker paper. Unbelievable. Keep up the great work!

Saw this video. Ordered the kit. Super-fast shipping. Tracking updates provided at no extra charge. Got the kit. An hour later ('cuz I went very slow) it works perfectly. I couldn't have done it without this video. I can't thank you enough.

I bought several of these kits from you a few years back but never got around to installing them. One of my Harmony 700 remotes was getting so bad though that I finally dug up the kits and proceed to install it on the bad remote. I carefully followed your video and after finishing, the remote now works like new! Now I have to work on installing the kit on the rest of my Harmony 700s (I have several). Thanks so much for this, especially the great instructional video. BTW I saw your newer kit and it looks great. I contemplated ordering those since they seemed easier to install, but just decided to try out the ones I already bought. The toughest part was pealing the brown paper off of the pieces. I must have one of the older ones that don't have the creases that you mentioned you added so they were a bit hard to peel.

Great instructional video. I used it initially to take my remote apart just to clean it. I am a vaper and I was shocked at the amount of vg/pg that had accumulated under the keypad. Cleaned it all up and put it back together. It was like having a new remote. It even fixed the gyroscope wake up feature that got extremely sluggish. I noticed the #1 button didn't always work so I ordered your kit and installed it today. Everything is back up and running great! Thank you sir for the fix. Now that Logitech has stopped production of the Harmony remote, I'll need to keep this thing running as long as I can. I highly recommend your kit!

Very well done! You even take the time to show how to do some nitpicky things like taking the backing tape off and using some pliers to insert the smaller parts. I followed the steps and it worked perfectly. Thanks!

I put these kits in both of my Harmony 650 remotes this week. They both work better than when they were new. They only require easy touches on the buttons and always trigger the devices correctly. Gone are multiple button presses each harder than the last to execute a command! Thanks for the fix.

Thanks for this video! I had an old 700 that had an off button that no longer functioned. This video helped me pull it apart and clean it up. I didn't need to replace anything (yet). I think my off contact was dirty and maybe even a slightly bent PCB.

The repair kit was great! Worked like a charm. I had temporarily fixed it using small pieces of tinfoil, but they would come loose and I would have to take it apart again 🤣 lol.

Good video. I was kinda skeptical especially when it seemed like the way the cutouts were, I couldn’t get it lined up right so that nothing was touching the green like you said. To that end, I ended up cutting up a number of the pieces and placed them separately over each button. Put everything back together and to my surprise, it works much much better than before. I’ll take it......

2 650s and a 700, all have failed on the same button, the lower left by the screen. It's the one needed to turn off the assistant. I threw one away! I still have 2 and am going to try fixing.

NOTE: on the heat gun or hairdryer to remove the panel that hides the upper screws... this plastic will definitely warp. so use the heat sparingly. And after cleaning and applying the conducive repair layer, my remote works like new !!!

My 665 started eating batteries like crazy in the past month (brand new Energizers only last 3 days now - that gets very expensive, about $30 per month). Tonight, I used this video to help me take it apart and clean everything. Fingers crossed that this will help! If not, I'll probably buy some cheap walmart remote.
@Laserdanger13 жыл бұрын
If a device starts eating up batteries that quickly it's usually indicative of a short circuit.

@tcosmas29902 жыл бұрын
Well, followed to You Tube and replaced all. But the "OK" "snap dome" still doesn't seem to 'work'. I hear a click but the TV/Cable Box doesn't do the action.. 😞
@p1repair2 жыл бұрын
The OK button is a metal snap dome and not repaired with the ButtonWorx membrane sections. Did you also order and use the Deoxit to clean it? Some people also have trouble with the original remote not pressing down far enough to reach the button with enough force to easily activate. The kit includes a little 5-dot sticker to increase the height and apply a little more pressure but that won't help if the button failed for oxidization or corrosion.

Thank You for the kits and the video. Works great! Now...I have a must read comment. IF YOU USE DURACELL BATTERIES, AND THEY GO DEAD, THEY W*I*L*L* LEAK! Sam's club "Members Mark" batteries last longer are much cheaper, and do not leak. Just sayin'

Nice video but I think a lot more time should have been paid to the specific issues involving assembly/disassembly. Very easy to cause damage in that not-so-intuitive process.
