My respect for these guys is immense. It just grows with every video I watch. I’m an automotive technician here in the states, I work in a dealership, multi million dollar shop. Looking at these guys do some seriously impressive work in a dirt-floor “shop” puts so many things in life into a perspective we often neglect to consider; most of all being how incredibly spoiled we are here in the US. Hats off to these gentlemen. Color me impressed.

Should appreciate the ingenuity of the mechanics, I see some people morning about the way they handle the things but to remember they don't have high end million dollars workshop to be very polished and with very little resources they are able to fix things in a short time, so they need appreciation. Unlike in some countries they wouldn't even bother to fix the gear box and just dump it.

The us has cores so once the old one comes out it gets rebuilt. I dont really fault them, its just they do so much that creates these issues. Simple things like all that extra weight by making it look pretty, that destroys drive trains. The road system doesn't help much either.

@mt81493 жыл бұрын
We have to dump them because of labor costs. It's cheaper, faster, and easier to replace with new parts rather than do an extensive repair. To have 10 men work on a differential would be unthinkable here. On the other hand, if I am repairing something for myself I like to go to great lengths to repair without buying new or at least up-cycle into something new. That's why I enjoy these videos.

Manufacturers compartmentalize consumers creating a reality just for them to extract maximum profits from certain groups. Some are conditioned to throw and dispose as they have no choice Other zones, that conditioning is unsuccessful (due to competition or culture) and cannot be implemented. So they remain honest and provide parts (which they have told other zones is no longer made). Manipulation is happening and need to open everyones eyes on the tricks and fake realities they made for people to accept.
