I am not a mechanic, but seeing what they do with what they have, I am amazed… no presses, little power tools, let a lot little safety gear. Any mechanic in the develop world would not attempt this. Bravo young men.

My respect for these guys is immense. It just grows with every video I watch. I’m an automotive technician here in the states, I work in a dealership, multi million dollar shop. Looking at these guys do some seriously impressive work in a dirt-floor “shop” puts so many things in life into a perspective we often neglect to consider; most of all being how incredibly spoiled we are here in the US. Hats off to these gentlemen. Color me impressed.

I'm sorry for u man. When u want to plant a tree 🌳 no need Accuracy. When u want to milking a cow no need Accuracy . But in such job like this need 100% Accuracy. As long as this guy's use hummer for tightening a nuts and seating a bearing u can call them master. They are destroyer. This kind of poor jobs will effect on differential function soon after little ride . Who most pay to re fix?? Poor truck owner. So if u call them pro or masters. U are worse than them.

@@porkrind3512 I agree look where the fuck these people live and work at. It's a giant sand box. There probably lucky to have electricity not alone access to the correct tools an repair information. Either way they make it happen. So what if they have to redo the job once a year. The cost of the repair is probably a 1/3 of what it cost in the USA. You know us Americans we like wearing work boots. So for sure we charge more. So what if it's not perfect as long as it gets done!!

Should appreciate the ingenuity of the mechanics, I see some people morning about the way they handle the things but to remember they don't have high end million dollars workshop to be very polished and with very little resources they are able to fix things in a short time, so they need appreciation. Unlike in some countries they wouldn't even bother to fix the gear box and just dump it.

The us has cores so once the old one comes out it gets rebuilt. I dont really fault them, its just they do so much that creates these issues. Simple things like all that extra weight by making it look pretty, that destroys drive trains. The road system doesn't help much either.

We have to dump them because of labor costs. It's cheaper, faster, and easier to replace with new parts rather than do an extensive repair. To have 10 men work on a differential would be unthinkable here. On the other hand, if I am repairing something for myself I like to go to great lengths to repair without buying new or at least up-cycle into something new. That's why I enjoy these videos.

I spent a lot of time in the Middle East and the parts were always there. I think it was because outside of the US all the trucks seem to be the same. There is one type of axle under every make of truck, one type of alternator etc. toyota makes one pickup for the US the one for the rest of the world. Makes parts available. Pretty cool.

Manufacturers compartmentalize consumers creating a reality just for them to extract maximum profits from certain groups. Some are conditioned to throw and dispose as they have no choice Other zones, that conditioning is unsuccessful (due to competition or culture) and cannot be implemented. So they remain honest and provide parts (which they have told other zones is no longer made). Manipulation is happening and need to open everyones eyes on the tricks and fake realities they made for people to accept.

It's amazing they do this with no work boots on. I guess no OSHA there. Lots of hammer's. Everyone must have a torque wrench in there arm's. Out of all the videos I watch from over there I have never seen one torque wrench. Even when they build a motor. If I built a motor with no torque wrench it wouldn't last. But for real I give you guys much respect for what you do with the tools and work place that you have. Much respect. The no work boots thing is a trip. I couldn't work like that with no boots on. Very hard work, very experience leader. Adjusting bearing preload and spiral gear match is very critical as well. I suggest to put a bit of oil to bearings during assembling. Enjoy your video from Viet Nam

Good job! There's one small thing that might make a lot of difference for those guys: use a winch to lift the heavy diff parts back in place. Less risk on remounting damage, hand injuries, back pain and less people needed for the job. Just a simple manual winch

One thing working in their favor in all amazing repair videos is there's no rust. Rusty bolts and parts can make any job that much harder and time consuming.
