You should always carry a spare inner tube with you on a trail. If you have a flat tire that is converted to tubeless with tire sealant you simply put an inner tube in and safely return from a trail. More at bikebook.si

LOL he forgot to remove what caused the flat in the first place, if you install the tube like this without checking inner tire with your fingers you instantly going to puncture your new inner tube with whatever was there..

Hahaha by accident i rode over someones bike at speed left in the middle of the track! I had nowhere to go but straight over it like a jump🤣 i just kept the power down and kept going like nothing even happened 🤣 100% true story!

I appreciate this video. As one acquiring my first tubeless-equipped bike, I need the basics. I've seen clips where punctures are fixed in the field with a tubeless plug patch. Carrying a spare tube as a backup, however, just makes sense, and would be one of the essentials for preventing a premature ending to my ride. Thank you for this video.

I might have checked for what made the tire go flat in the first place before putting in the tube.
@yuripolkavich74697 жыл бұрын
0.42 uh yeah, you might not want to break down your front wheel and leave the bike right in the middle of the trail.
@4ndyr0g3r50n9 жыл бұрын
Just two questions: 1. Shouldn't you check for and remove any debris stuck in the tire other wise you'll burst the new tube straight away? and 2. What do you do when you get home and want to actually carry on with the tubeless setup? - presumably just remove tube, remove any debris and top up sealant?

Talk about a pain in the freaking ass when something like that happens same thing if you mess up and don’t have the tube in there right crack there goes your tube.hopefully then and not when your riding especially the front one that’s dangerous.

Why couldn’t you just add tire sealant and use frame pump to inflate instead of using a tube?

I'd like to believe this video but the tyre went on the rim too easily. If it was tubeless, you'd have to struggle to get it back on.

So let me understand this. Even if I run tubeless and I get a flat I still have to carry a spare tube. I know it is less likely but come on man.

It should be titled "How to put a tube into a tire". This has nothing to do with the fact that the tire is tubeless. What if it was a simple "burp"? Or what if there was a thorn embedded in the tire? Or what if the tubeless' valve was stuck (seen it happen)? What if it's a sidewall gash or a slit in the tube....how do you fix that once you get back home? That and the annoyingly repetitive music...

@janusdeeg5 жыл бұрын
Some of these comments don't understand that this is a emergency fix in case of larger rips that can't be fixed by the sealant. That said: the way you remove the tire from the rim is way too easy. Tubeless tires have a very tight and snug fit. Also, have you ever tried this with fresh sealant? Once the tubeless is deflated the outer tire will stick together and the sealant creates a mess. Not a very realistic video.
@PresingPhoenixSquadron8 жыл бұрын
You did not check the tire for anything, and because it was tubeless the tire can have lot's of stuffs in/on it. Sorry to say but this is total fail video.

It really makes no sense... to fix a tubeless tire on trail put tube in... I mean why then you need tubeless system? Why not to show how really you would fix tubeless tire in such a situation
@lazurm4 жыл бұрын
Roman Konoplov: Unless a better way is invented, the only two methods is to either use a plug kit (not useful if you can't find the source of the air leak) or place a tube in the tire after carefully cleaning any debris and sharp items from inside the tire area. As such, it makes total sense.
