My problem with my car is that when I it’s in park or neutral it idles from 1-2 sometimes 1-2.5 rpms. I changed the TPS and got it close to .5 but it’s .4 the idle is still there. And it idles when I’m driving really slow like below 15mphs. When I let of the gas when driving it feels like there’s a huge loss of power to the speed. I’m not sure what to do and there is a code.

@@PeterFinnTheCarDoctor if you ever get any info on that please post it! I am getting a tool to help me calibrate the TPS correctly, and I’m hoping that will fix the issue and remove the code.

You said every morning. Did you mean when it's cold? What's your car RPM when car warmed up? Because when it's cold it may take up to 10 minutes to warm up on idle for car to drop RPM below 1k.

If its AT check the fast idle thermo valve...Its mounted on the bottom of throttle body. Valve gets loose over time and wont close when engine is warm. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gmibaZ2BeruVors

Sir, what is PWM idle control valve?? My car i20 1.2 petrol has 3 pins connector to its idle air control valve. Pin 2 gives 12.6 v when grounded. However, pin 1 and 3 gives only about 10.5 V when measure with respect to positive post of battery. Why I'm not getting 12.6 V??? Also, very surprising is that, when pin 1 and 3 are grounded individually, they still give about 1.5 volt. Is there something current nor voltage leaks??? Our main issue is pin 1 and 3. Please find me solutions!! Thanks.

You can, but it's harmful to the engine and this part itself. Just do it this weekend.

Actually Brian Peter speaks great English and I can understand him better than I can some native born Americans that don't speak proper English. Peter is an asset to the car repair community and a very giving one at that -- why take the time to dis on him? Courtesy, respect, and kindness... are far more important that jargon, lexicon, and grammar. You can find some YT videos on how to go about "gettin' you some."
