The same thing happened to my 2003 Dodge Ram on drivers side, we watched ur video to fix and everytime we would get the clips lined up with the old marks on the window, as soon as we started tightening the screw after sliding it into the smaller notch it would start going crooked and not stay in position, also when we thought we finally had it lined up and fixed as soon as we hit the switch to slowly roll it up the glass pulls right out of the clips. What would cause these 2 issues? You made it look so easy. Thank you.

if yours isn’t holding on the the glass, make sure the clamps fit tight. it not, you might squeeze them down slightly. you may also need some glass adhesive or epoxy to make the clamps hold. just follow the directions on package. may need to give it time to dry. should be available at most parts stores. good luck!

This was very, very helpful. My window froze and then pulled out of the clamps and then fell into the door past the regulator. Took a little wiggling but I got it back up past the regulator and then lowered the regulator and got the window back in the clamps. I really appreciate seeing how everything went together before I started. Thanks!

So I got the panel off but I found that it is not a problem with the glass coming out of the clamps. The nylon washers that the pull up arms fit into are broken, both nylon washers. So I'll look for the nylon washers Monday.

Freezing also caused my son's window to do same. Took it to shop that day as it was about 10 degrees. They put window back on track BUT told us the whole thing needed to be replaced because the glass needs to be glued to the track and it would never stay if not bought as one piece and newly installed. Told us not to use window until replaced. So is that not true? Thanks for input.

Not sure about that one. Never had that issue before. Sounds like it could be a switch going bad. I would probably do a Google search and read some of the forums about what others have done to repair that. Thanks!

In the door panel, the power window switch, does it pop out through the top/out side or are there screws to remove from the back side of the door panel? I just need to replace the switch and trying to find out if I must remove the door panel.

Window froze and fell down into door. The regulator is up and won't come down where I could reach it thru the access ports. It just moves a little, then hits something, possibly the window. When I try to raise the window manually thru the access ports, it hits something, probably the regulator. So this video was no help.
