Hi Sprayway, I found your channel about 2 weeks ago and immediately subscribed after watching several of your videos. I so appreciate the way that you take the time to explain the processes that you are you using, and why. I am the proud owner of a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. I am a retired Police Officer, and when I joined the Philadelphia Police department over 34 years ago, these at one point were the fleet vehicles. I fell in love with their durability, and yes their speed. I always hoped to own one. I got the opportunity to purchase mine from one of my coworkers. When I got it, it was starting to develop rust, and had a few small dings in the body. I had no clue as to how to tackle these issues. A friend of mine who owned a body shop, was to do the bodywork, and paint it for me, but passed away suddenly. Since watching your videos, I am confident that I can make the necessary repairs that will restore my car to the beauty that it once was. Lol, I will be painting it a beautiful iridescent purple. Thank you for sharing your expertise! Debbie in Philly!

I’ve got an ‘11 CVPI, had to patch the floorboard under the drivers front feet and drivers back foot area. Water leaked under the carpet and rotted it out. Otherwise it’s relatively rust free coming from Boston. You can do anything Debbie, painting is 90% in the preparation

Can't thank you enough for showing how to get control of that rust, esp in the fenders and doors. I swear by RustMort. I have experience stopping rust on chrome (sealed with clear PlastiDIP), and that rust is stopped!!!!! Been watching u for over a year and finally subscribed. Learned a lot of tricks from your videos. Too bad the owner didn’t have the money to pay you to fix this one the right way and have you weld in patch panels. It’s a nice car. Not sure how long your repairs will last, but maybe a decade in AL which has a drier climate than where I live in IL. I’m retired and do restoration work on my own vehicles. I dii ok mind welding in patches, but it only costs me material and my time to fix it. Keep the videos coming! I’ll watch !

Good video. After initial sanding , save time and really protect metal with a spray of phosforic acid rust consversion products. Phosphoric acid converts iron oxide (rust) into an inert layer of iron phosphate, which is black in colour. This inert layer then acts as a barrier layer or protective coating. A rust converter eliminates the need to sandblast rust therefore less time and energy is involved in the process.

I believe I added Ruby Red Pearl and gold Pearl to the clear that I don't remember the amounts that I put into it that's why it would be so hard to replicate it the two-tone PPG black on top and switchblade silver on bottom

That dam resin and fiberglass does wonders as long as you de-rust the area first

Confused. So I go down to bare metal after cleaning rust. I don’t need to use epoxy primer after using rust mort? I can just use body filler or fiberglass filler then use regular primer? Also I do have some spots where they were low and I went to metal. I was going to epoxy them but if I can skip epoxy and just go straight to filler then prime everything is that ok too? I hit ur cashapp too. I know after working on mine I’m beat let alone editing videos and replying to comments. Ur a machine, salute

Thanks man. I really appreciate that. You don’t have to go straight to epoxy unless you plan on letting it sit for awhile
