Really appreciate the amount of detail you put in your videos! Is there any possibility you could do one on how to repair older plastic, or is it the same procedure? I have a 1967 Mustang convertible with molded seat backs that are very expensive to replace and I would like to try and keep the originals. One has a large crack on the upper top corner where it is close to a chrome trim piece that goes around the edge of the backing piece. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you for your time and consideration

Really good video, but depending on your year make and model, a lot of these interior trim pieces are not very expensive and might just be worth replacing that fixing. My wife needed a new under steering wheel panel for her newer Kia and it was only $25 for a brand new Kia part. That's a pretty big part too and it came from Korea. Especially if you don't have these products to do the repair because you would need to buy all the products from blades, sandpaper, cleaner, and paints. But for large pieces or if you do this kind of stuff a lot sure. Very good information here. Thank you.

Captain Howdy this method as all of our methods is for those it pertains to not being able to locate parts at affordable prices, if you can find great used parts for cheaper than by all means rock and roll my friend , but as I mentioned some people don't have that option with the parts in their cars and trucks so we do these videos for that reason

Sweet project cars!!, thanks for the video(s), much appreciated!!! What I heard on scratches like that, gouges is; you're supposed to clean it off (like you were doing with a razor blade), take off the leftovers and use; Liquid Nails (the clear kind) then let it dry and remove the Leftovers with a razor blade!!!, ??? Have you heard anything like that???

I've found that you can often fix scuffs in late model plastic trim with a lighter. Not big gouges, but scuff marks that are typically lighter in color than the rest of the panel. And I have no idea why people are discussing motor oil in the comments of an interior repair video. Maybe KZbin is messing up somehow.
