This is a small chonda engine... not high compression, has a crush ring in the gasket and more than enough clamping force so no it will not have a gasket leak (at least not combustion) even though peening the crap out of a head is generally not good practice.. I bet it will leak oil out the side of the head eventually but they all do that.. a threaded insert would be a much easier, stronger, less invasive, less time consuming, less labor intensive and generally objectively better repair for this but in a place where an hour of labor costs less than a threaded insert whatya gonna do...

Ive had 14 or 15 bike engines come to me with damaged plug threads .... and all the owners wanted a cheap repair as cash was short for them .... my method was to cut 3 or 4 lines into an old spark plug threads until it looks like a tap .... then i block the spark plug hole with a small cotton rag with some grease on it .... i then grease the modified spark plug and insert it into the plug hole .... screw the plug in until it starts jamming and then slowly continue to tap out the hole with the modified plug turning it in and out like a tap until it reaches the bottom of the hole .... remove the modified plug and the cloth from the head .... insert a new plug and tighten and off you go .... total time taken is approximately one hour .... cheap and quick repair and effective.

Some time this won't be ok. If your bush is inserted with gum. Engine head getting hot while working. Bush might be rotating with plug when you will going to remove plug one day. If you can cut internal thread engine head plug hall and the bush external and insert it, it must success. That how I do and Did.

Thanks for comment but your method is not fine some times because thread on bush have leakage problem. So engine head stop making pressure because of leakage. My method is far better than threading on bush method. No any leakage no any rotation because bush fits tightly in head. Thanks for watching ❤️

Simple, find a bigger spark plug. You don't even have to pull the head. Just make sure it's the same length.

New threads make leakage problem so head stop making pressure because of leakage. In my method we fits Bush tightly in the head. No any leakage and no any rotation problem by changing and removing the Spark plug.
