Hey loves! I hope you enjoy the video.. This video was filmed over a month ago (hence why my highlights don't look so grown out) lol *sigh* I can't wait to get my hair done again BUT ANYWAYS.... I have started using some other products that have helped with a compromised skin barrier which I have linked in the description box. These products have truly worked wonders on my skin when I have experienced dryness and irritation. I also like to use these products to prevent possible dryness and irritation as well so these are great to have on hand incase you need something asap👏🏻 As always, thank you so much for watching❤️

Great recommendations 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Your videos are always useful. It’s great that you mention AQUAPHOR in the description box because Cerave does not sell the Healing Ointment in Europe so we do have the AQUAPHOR option. 😀 I am using the La Roche Posay Cicaplast B5. But I will try the AQUAPHOR.

Could you do a video on products for melasma/hyperpigmentation? There are some amazing serums from Facetheory & Geek and Gorgeous, but they cost a fortune to ship to Canada.. not to mention the currency conversion. It seems like the most suggested products for this issue need to be imported from the UK or US. Could you share an affordable routine for us in Canada?

Oh my gosh! I got the worst irritation after trying a lactic acid 10% for the first time … I literally took almost 6 weeks to heal, even a warm cloth would hurt Wish I had seen this then But now that I’m finally healed I’ll buy some of these just in case for the future Thank you beautiful

Wow really ? I thought lactid acid was gentle ? I was thinking about getting one from the inkykist or something. What kind of skin do you have ? I've been using the pha toner from the inkykist and I have very dry very reactive sensitive skin and this stuff had worked awsome at gently exfoliating.

If you have sensitive skin you may want to stick with PHA or Mandelic Acid as the molecule size is larger. Lactic Acid is great for those that have dry skin but it can still be a little sensitizing for those that are prone to sensitivities/irritation.

Which one is best for acne prone skin?? I have the cerave healing ointment and the cicablast but there not healing my neck and I’m also wondering if you can put the cicablast around eyes?!
@SincerelyMissAsh
@SincerelyMissAsh 3 жыл бұрын
I find with these heavier creams you need to be careful around the eye area as I find they can get absorbed into the eye which can cause a blurry/foggy vision but as long as you stay around the orbital bone it should be ok. I would say the Cosrx Comfort Ceramide Cream is great for oily/acne prone skin. It can help calm acne irritation as well.

Lrp Cicaplast baume is the best thing I have ever put on my face for irritation or redness it instantly takes it away it's pretty crazy. It's the only one that doesn't leave a crazy greasy film.

Hi, thanks for the video, I have been using Tretinoin for about 5 months and I think I’ve been using to much. My face is so red, and the skin is peeling and it burns if I use anything on it. I have been using Cera ve facial moisturizer and it has really helped.
@SincerelyMissAsh
@SincerelyMissAsh 3 жыл бұрын
The Cerave Moisturizing Cream is a great option as well. You may need to decrease your usage and only use Tretinoin a few times a week. Everyone reacts so differently to these types of products.

@SincerelyMissAsh

You can still use some of these products in the morning especially the Famarcy Honey Halo and the Cosrx Creamide Cream. The other products are a little too heavy and greasy to wear during the day especially under sunscreen.

I am looking for very rich moisturizer that will keep my skin moisturized since I am extremely dry and my skin gets flakey. Any recommendations are appreciated. Ps I have noticed huge dark spots under my eyes not sure why because I am using SpF every single day.
@fallguy6196
@fallguy6196 3 жыл бұрын
The dark spots are probably allergies. I found the best moisturizer for my dry skin that isn't so heavy that it makes my face hot (CeraVe cream, vanicream) is the vanicream daily hydrating moisturizer. The one with hyaluronic acid and ceramides. This stuff is amazing I put alittle bit on at night and it keeps me hydrated and moisturized the whole next day until my nightie routine again. I don't use anything during the day except SPF if I go out. It's extremely hydrating. A tiny bit going along way is an understatement for this product literally a speck covers your whole face for the whole night and the whole next day.

Would you say the cerave healing ointment is best for skin irritation? I have sensitive dry skin, not acne prone, and fairly clear. Recently had skin irritation with small little bumps. Do you think that product would be best?
@fallguy6196
@fallguy6196 3 жыл бұрын
I mean that stuff is basically the same as putting Vaseline on your face if you don't mind that feeling. I like the cicaplast from la Roche posey way better and has healed any issues I've had way better than the CeraVe. If I have any redness at all it instantly takes it away and brightens my skin and take the irritation away immediately And it's easier to put on.
@sabrinamandell4611
@sabrinamandell4611 3 жыл бұрын
@@fallguy6196 is that product okay for sensitive skin? I used their hydrating cleanser and it bothered my skin. That’s why I was looking at the vaseline alternative. I think the irritation I have is from maybe masks bc it’s like little small bumps and I also have redness. Let me know your thoughts. Thank you for your reply!

@@sabrinamandell4611 I acually never really liked either if their cleansers they made me dry. But that ointment is pretty much the same as Vaseline and I've never had any issues with it. But it's the same as slugging. You have to go into knowing you will be a grease pit lol. It's definitely safe for sensitive skin. I have dry reactive skin and it works good for me. I still like the cicaplast way better though I don't even use the CeraVe anymore only on my lips I hate that slugging feeling all over my face
