I use the Cosrx Cica Intense cream as the top layer of my retinoid “sandwich.” It works very well. The first jar of the Pacifica ceramide cream was one of the best moisturizers I’ve ever used. The second jar is a total dud. I don’t get it.

Yes! The Etude House Soon Jung line really helped my skin. Especially the toner, sheet mask, and hydro barrier cream. Affordable and very sensitive skin friendly.I am obsessed with Stratia liquid gold as my nighttime moisturizer. It’s changed my skin texture! I recommend both lines for acne-prone, sensitive, dehydrated skin like mine.

I love the new Pacifica lines that came out within the last year or two. Their vegan collagen and ceramides line are great. Honestly the ceramide cream is one of the best I've tried even compared to other more expensive moisturizers Ive tried within the last 3 years. No scent, its almost like a whipped texture, but not a in greasy thick buttery way but rather, light, quick absorbing, and very moisturizing without the heaviness.

Yes! I love the Vegan Ceramide barrier lotion, because it does not have niacinamide like the thicker cream does, and I'm a little sensitive to niacinamide. And, for only $16 a bottle, I can stock up and generously slather it on my face any time I want, multiple times a day, and not break the bank. Plus, I have actually damaged my skin barrier, more than once, and this was the stuff that helped restore it within a matter of days.

I get pilling sooo stinking much with American moisturizers. I don’t think I even realized it until I started using South Korean moisturizers and other stuff. I’ve tried to go back to some old faves that are from the US and I just cannot use them anymore! Korean moisturizer just has something else in them that is so superior to what we can get

I recently bought Liquid Gold after hearing you talk about it in a previous video and really like it. I use it when I derma roll since my skin gets extra dry after rolling and LG has helped much.

I've been having a great experience with the Laneige cica sleeping mask. I've seen a TON of them at Marshalls/TJ Maxx for like 19 bucks, it's 34 at Sephora, 27 at yesstyle. They must have reformulated recently, I should go back and get some back ups and gifts for friends. It's not perfect for my oily skin, I definitely wake up with more oil but it's fantastic for barrier repair. And the texture of it is dreamy! A super soft cream. Would be great for dry skin folks.

I would recommend the Mad About Skin moisturiser. I do at home skin peels regularly (either 20%TCA or 25%BHA) and his Maximum Impact is like mana from heaven while my skin barrier recovers. Full of good barrier healers.

Hi Sarah my rosacea has been freaking out now we're into Winter (Scotland), so I'm using the PC ultra rich moisturiser during the day under spf (ultrasun) and their soothing body butter as my night time moisturiser. The body butter is fairly similar to the clinical ultra rich but just a bit richer, although it still sinks into my skin within about ten minutes - some days I go back for another layer if I'm super dry. It is enough to keep my skin comfortable overnight though without being too greasy. I've been using the omega serum underneath the body butter if I think my skin needs the extra oils etc and I am enjoying it. A surprise has been the PC balm for lips and body (which was a free gift with my order) - I love it. It's really thick and stays on my lips all night (unlike the Laneige lol), leaving them moisturised in the morning. It stays on much better than just about anything I've tried before, so it's a winner. It hadn't really been on my radar due to the price, but used once a day will last me months and months so it may become another staple for me. The Stratia caused me a huge reaction when I tried it and I think it might be the sea buckthorn, but can't be positive as to which ingredient was the culprit. I haven't used that ingredient since developing rosacea, so it's getting the blame. The regimen labs is difficult to get here btw, otherwise I would try it. The Pacifica cream is nice, but not enough for my skin in the Winter (Spring or early Autumn it worked fine). Another thing that helps this time of year is adding the laneige cream skin back into my routine - it's really moisturising without being too heavy on my skin and helps seal in the hydrating layers. Best wishes.

I need to try some of these. I've been using the cerave skin renewing night cream for several years now. It, along with a couple of drops of oil, has really helped with my adjustment to tretinoin.

With the drastic change of seasons here, my skin was on fire for weeks. I tried everything, including LRP Cicaplast, which has worked before. What calmed my skin down almost immediately (1-2 days) was the Aveeno Restorative Skin Therapy balm, so now I’ll never be without it. This is the one tested on and used for cancer patient’s delicate skin. (Btw, I have oily acne-prone skin and it didn’t cause any breakouts, even for me)

On the topic of barrier supportive skincare, have you tried Bonajour's Biome Shield 5x Cera Toner? The ingredient list looks promising...Lots of ceramides mixed with cholesterol + fatty acids, and on top of that a lovely amount of galactomyces...but...I am unsure. Stylevana, Yesstyle, and the official Bonajour website have one ingredient list, but one recent Yesstyle review shows the ingredient list containing a bunch of essential oils...

My favorite to layer over tretinoin is the purito dermide squalane sleep mask. It’s sooo good and if my skin is pilling at all or peeling from being dry it just hides it and is kinda cool. I live soonjung 2x as well as the panthenoside 5&10 cica balm. The soonjung hydro barrier balm is really good too! Another fave is the cosrx rice sleeping mask I order it through a seller on Walmart for $12 and free shipping. It’s just so good no pilling good ingredients. If you can’t tell my biggest pet peeve is PILLING idk if it’s just me or what lol. The DRMTLGY neck cream feels similar to a lot of thicker Korean creams it has that nice slip to it when you touch your neck it just glides across. I’ve used that one on my face a few times as well. I prefer it over DRMTLGY peptide night cream I didn’t love that for some reason. I’m also on the fence with Stratia’s new moisturizer. I bought 2 and am having a hard time putting even 1 serum under it without it pilling and balling off my face not super bad but it’s sticky-ish almost like a serum gel or something?

I use Cicaplast from LaRoche Posay for barrier restore! But I recently made a skincare buy mistake 😐 I needed to replace it, but it wasn't on sale, so I found a Neutrogena balm that said "Cica" in the package, so obviously I thought it had Centella asiatica, but no 😑 it doesn't. At least it was super cheap, and worst case scenario, I got a balm for my feet 😅
