HOW TO!!!! Replace 03-06 Silverado front door speaker!!!

In today’s video I’m going to be showered no you how to remove the door panel on my 03 Silverado as well as replacing the front door speakers!! I’m replacing the old speakers with CT Sounds bio series 6.5” coax speakers!
I couldn’t show how they sound as video wouldn’t do them justice and I’d get copyrighted... but they sound great!!

My opening don’t have screw holes to put in the door speakers lol

You’ll have to use self tappers to install non factory speakers..

Before you installed your aftermarket speakers, were they 2 - way speakers?

If you mean the stock speakers I’m not sure, the previous owner had aftermarket 2-way Rockford speakers in it when I bought it.

@@ZPTVChannel I believe my factory speakers on my 05 Chevy extended cab, have a 2 - way speaker. I am trying to research if I can convert to 4 - way speakers.

@@ImpeccableWizdom I’m sure you can. You would probably need something like a splitter box almost like a component set up.

@@ZPTVChannel so I cannot just hard wire my new speakers in right away without a splitter box? I am guessing a splitter box is something I could purchase at Walmart?

@@ImpeccableWizdom you probably could hardwire it! Just get a little bit of extra wire and just connect it into both ports. A splitter box would just distribute the sound more efficiently, but honestly unless your doing a whole aftermarket amp set up doing it your way will probably be about the same!
