It's not that fluid got into the mirror. The mirror is actually leaking. Mirror has auto dimming and that is the fluid that darkens.

You actually don't want to push the mirror backwards in that fashion as this is a power folding mirror. Thanks for the video.

Yes @kadash3215 this aspect might lead some people astray. I'm not sure the mirror needs to be jammed up against the truck to facilitate the process. I certainly will not do that with me. Good Video though very helpful.
