What’s the part number for the lower black cover and can you replace it without replacing the whole assembly?

A small 6MM box wrench has the perfect fork span to grab engage sides of the square-ish clips. Worked really well on the painted trim's top corner. Just push down and it will release both sides at the same time.

Your videos are great man! Keep up the good work! Did you notice at highway speeds the mirror it self shakes? Mine does that, and I’m about to have them replace the entire mirror assembly. They told me the mirror itself couldn’t be removed. This video proves them wrong.

Sweet video, but you didn't need to dismantle anything to vinyl wrap this. No prior color edges will show or retraction of vinyl using just heat gun, edge tucking tool and blade.

How close is the color match with that specific vinyl? I have a summit white Silverado as well and wanted to wrap my chrome mirror caps

WARxxBEAST, it’s a really good match In my opinion. I can’t see a difference. Two shades of white would bug me. Even if their was the slightest difference, with the rest of the black mirror separating the two, you would never notice.

Good grief that dangling mirror made me nervous, those 2 wires for the heating element slip right off so you can detach the mirror all together and set it aside!
