Worked for me. Only my battery was very stuck in there. I ended up using a micro flat head screwdriver to pry it out, the end of the key wasn't thin enough to get in there. Still happily driving a 2014 Prius V which is about to hit 100,000 miles.

Pretty good, but beware: Those little lock/unlock & hazard buttons are only held in place by the fob. When you open the fob, they can fall out--and good luck finding 'em!

Good reminder. I had to get a new fob shell b/c I dropped the pieces and couldn't find all of them, so be careful handling the 2 sides of the fob once open.

Why does my plug in battery not charge to full ? I have Prius hybrid plug-in 2015. It used to be more now it’s less before it was over 19 now it’s 8.7?

Not sure on your vehicle specifically but rechargeable batteries in general loose their charge capacity over time

If you're talking about your EV range, it will go down according to how you drive. If you're heavier on the accelerator, it will reduce your EV range. When I do more pulse and gliding, my range stays around 16 or 17 miles. This is of course assuming nothing is wrong with your hybrid battery as PYR Automotive mentioned.
