❤pretty cool man! Thanks for your tips. After watching your video I Bought a used alternator with 40k miles from a salvage car on eBay LKQ for $60. I managed to install it in about 2.5 hours. Car is back to operational. Thanks a lot for your tips!! 😃

Also I used a small utility pump purchased on Amazon for $15 to siphon a good amount of coolant from the reservoir.. I guess I could have drained it from the radiator but the pump worked well and minimal coolant was lost after detaching the hoses 🎉

You didn't show how difficult it was to get to the bottom bolts. That's not cool. If you are going to put out an informational video, tell everything. Not just the easy or "pretty" stuff.

Anyone watching this video keep in mind about half gallon of coolant will come out. He says “a little bit” but you pull the main radiator hose out and a lot comes out. Also keep in mind that this took me 4 hours: not sure if I did something wrong or not as efficient but it’s a lengthy process to identify all hoses that need to come out, plugs, wires in the way, figuring out how to catch the coolant. If you want a more in depth video showing the thermostat coming out and everything I’d go down like 3 more in the search to the other Marroon/red one. Way more in depth video.

I usually don't post a message like this so first, I'm sorry. What a morron. Ya don't take off the positive battery terminal first, always remove negative first. What if your wrench accidentally touches metal while it's on the positive terminal. Wicked sparks and Massive electrical damage to all those computers in the car. Wish I had more time to point out ALL the wrong stuff that has been done and said. (And NOT said) Maybe I'll come back later to update, like how to get the bottom bolt, and how to twist the alternator to get it out easy. Oh, when he says what tools are needed; A ratcheting wrench??? Duh, what size morron?
