Tom, I watched this video to the end. Why I don't know, I'll never be replacing a pump but, I want to say I think there is a special place in heaven waiting for you. I had a sump pump in the a house I owned. More than once the float switch would fail and the basement would flood. I got smart a installed not one but two sump pumps with the second one with the float set higher. My rational being if the first one failed the second one would take over. It looked great. I tested it out and it worked great. I came home a few months later to a flooded basement. The system failed. Do you know why? I had plunged them into the same receptacle and the fuse had blown. The were both on the same circuit. I changed to two circuits and all went fine after that. hope this helps someone.

My basement has an ejector pump because the main sewer pipe exits the house about four feet above the basement floor. I’m a little confused why the pump in your church is needed since its output goes back into the floor. Stronger flow out to city sewer?

Exactly! The flow to the sewer is weak and this seems to help a lot.
